Year 5/6/7 Term Four, 2008
Welcome back to the final term of 2008. There are a number of activities occurring in the 5/6/7 class over the next ten weeks and we hope to end the school year on a positive note.
This term, our theme is 'Change', with a particular focus on Australian history and the changes that have occurred throughout time. As a component of this terms work we will be watching and analysing a number of different films to develop the children's critical literacy skills. This will help them to become a critical thinker. In Health, we will be continuing the theme of "Change" by looking at the physical, social and emotional changes that occur from birth through adolescence and into adulthood.
