Year 5 / 6 / 7 Class Note
Dear Parents,Welcome to the 2009 school year. This year Miss Anderton and Mr Wilson will be teaching your children. Mr Wilson will teach the class on Tuesdays and Miss Anderton will be teaching the remainder of the week.
Miss Anderton will teach:
- Maths: Number, Chance and Data, Space and Working Mathematically.
- English: Reading, Writing, Spelling, Speaking and Listening and Viewing
- Technology & Enterprise
- Society & Environment: Culture
Mr Wilson will be teaching
- Maths: Measurement and Working Mathematically
- Science: Earth and Beyond
- Health: Self Management Skills
- Physical Education: Softcrosse (Lacrosse)
Monday- LOTE: Japanese
Tuesday- Library
Wednesday- Physical Education and Art
Thursday- Early Close, 2:30pm
Friday- Senior Sport, Assemblies every second Friday
Year 6/7 Camp
The Year 6/7 camp will be held at the Department of Sport and Recreation campsite at Point Walter, 6-8 May. The approximate cost of the camp will be $200 however in 2007 the students only paid $75 due to parent initiated fundraising and financial support from the P&C.
Wednesday- Physical Education and Art
Thursday- Early Close, 2:30pm

We have been extremely impressed with the way in which the children have begun the year. It has been great to see the children so engaged in their learning through the use of the laptops.
We will be holding a parent information session on Wednesday 18 February at 3.15pm to discuss our classroom procedures and expectations. Hope to see you there.
