What's On in Sport
Year 4-7 Sport on Fridays:
WACA Cricket Clinics: Jess Moyes, Cricket Development Officer, will run a series of cricket clinics on Friday mornings with our boys and girls inter-school cricket teams. On Friday 6th November these teams will compete in the Warrior/Fury Inter-School Cricket Competition held at Harmony Fields.
Dance: Nadia Schimmel, a dance instructor from Peppermint Dance Studio in Maddington will workshop talented dancers from Years 4-7 on Friday mornings for 5 weeks. The final session will be held at Nadia's studio in Maddington. Nadia is an ex-student who is providing this service for free just to give something back to the school community.
Cycling: On Friday mornings, Miss Anderton, will take a group of cyclists and train them in cycling skills and safety. Students who choose to participate in this activity will need to bring their bikes on Fridays. Don't forget your helmet.

Orange Grove PS playgroup
The Playgroup parents and children enjoyed a story-time and play session on Wednesday morning. The session was run by Haw Shin Wai, a Speech Therapist from Therapy Focus, and was based around connecting words and meaning through the use of Nursery Rhymes. The children had fun singing Incy Wincy Spider and other songs and making glittery spiders.
The parents received some helpful ideas from Shinn about how to further develop their child's language abilities. A great time was had by all.

Each term we celebrate our achievements by inviting a select group of students to lunch with the Principal. Well done to these children. Have a lovely holiday.

Room 3 Update

Some of our exciting plans include forming our own country (complete with Parliament, courts and laws), having a healthy banquet every week and sleeping overnight in the classroom!

Welcome back everyone. Hope you had a lovely holiday. These wonderful children had lunch with me as a reward at the end of second term.
Pre Primary Enrolments for 2010
Applications for enrolment are still available for Pre Primary 2010. If you have a child born between 1st July 2004 and the 30th June 2005 they are eligible for enrolment into Pre Primary for 2010.

Video Case Study
Our school was recently chosen by Apple Australia to be included in their 'Profiles in Success' series. These are video case studies of schools that have successfully integrated technology into the learning environment.
