Drop Everything and Read Day

Drop%20everything%20and%20read%20day%20001%20%28Small%29.jpg We recently had a special event which gave the children an opportunity to read to their "hearts' content". Happy readers could be seen in all parts of the school both inside and out. This wonderful strategy supports our Literacy priority beautifully.

Laptop Proposal

This is the slide presentation from the recent parent meetings regarding 'the Future of Education' at Orange Grove Primary. At those meetings, the school community was asked to consider implementing a parent-funded laptop program for students in Years 4 - 7.

Parents who were unable to attend these meetings should contact the school as soon as possible to arrange a detailed explanation of the proposal. It is essential that all parents are informed and have their say about this important development in their child's education.

Important Parent Meeting

An important meeting will be held on Tuesday 11 September for parents of students in Years 3 to 6. The first session will be held at 2pm with a repeat session at 6pm for working parents.
