The Year 1/2 class has been learning about fractions in Maths. We walked through our fruit and vegetable garden and picked ripe tomatoes and capsicums. Then we cut them into halves, quarters and even eighths. We found out that two halves make a whole and four quarters make a whole. The best part was when we got to eat them at the end!
The students from the Year 4/5 and 5/6/7 classes participated in an AFL Football Clinic on Wednesday,18 March. The clinic was run by two players from the Perth Demons Football Club and a West Coast Eagles player! The kids learnt a lot of skills and had a terrific time. The players who ran the clinic said our student's behaviour was better than any other school group they have coached this year. Well done Kids!

The Year 4 / 5 class have just released episode 19 of their
award-winning podcast 'Podkids Australia'. This episode focuses on space and teaches listeners about the planets, moons, asteroids and comets that make up our Solar System.
The Year 5/6/7 and 4/5 classes began the first of three golf clinics on Friday 6th March. Cameron, the coach, attended Go Go Golf clinics when he was at primary school and went on to play golf internationally. Perhaps we have some budding golfers in our senior classes! The students certainly all had a great time and are looking forward to the clinic next week.
