P.P. Year One Class

Our silkworms have been growing rapidly over the break and the children are waiting expectantly for them to spin their cocoons. The year ones are producing an amazing power point presentation on the silkworm's life cycle. Our veggie garden has also been growing well and the snow peas are very popular. There is also much anticipation about our excursion this term. We are off to Cicerellos to learn about sea life. We're also going to have fish and chips for lunch when we are there.Yum!

Welcome Back to Term 4

Aust animal year 1-2 2008 032.jpgWelcome back to school everyone.  We hope you all had a great holiday and are well rested and ready for the final busy term for 2008. At the end of last term, the Year 1/2 class worked very hard gathering facts and data from informational texts, internet sites and other sources to produce a written project, as well as a diorama of a native Australian animal, in its natural habitat.  These dioramas are now displayed in the school Library and Office for those who would like to see them.
