What's happening this term.

It was with much pleasure that we welcomed back our year two three students. It seems we all had an exciting and relaxing holiday. The class enjoyed sharing all their interesting adventures. With this term being quite a short one we will be soon hard at work. We do have the swimming lessons and the end of year concert to look forward to so we will be busy.

Over this term we will be following several themes and areas of enquiry.
In the Language area we will be examining Fairy Tales enjoying some old favourites and some new tales.
In Society and Environment, following on from our studies in term three of the local Noongar people, their lifestyle and customs, we will be looking at Australian history.

In Science and Technology we will be looking at simple machines.

Open Night

http://www.ogps.wa.edu.au/images/Whole%20School%20017%20%28Small%29-thumb.jpgThank you to the families who attended our Open Night, it was wonderful to see so many people attend. On display was some of the work we had completed during the term. Our theme was Noongar Studies and we learned a great deal about the history of our local Noongar people. The children had enormous fun collating and displaying their work and we hope you found it informative.
