Solar Ovens
During first term the Year 6 / 7 students designed and constructed solar cookers. They tested the cookers using a thermometer to find out if they would be hot enough to cook food. The students made some improvements to their cookers and finally cooked pizza in them. Some of the cookers were very successful even though it was only about 23 degrees. One of the cookers is pictured above!
