Our School Vision

Awakening the Joy of Lifelong Learning

At Orange Grove Primary School, every child is valued, included and
encouraged to achieve their personal best. We provide a welcoming,
supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel safe,
confident and ready to learn.

Our vision is to develop capable, curious and respectful learners who
are prepared to succeed at school and beyond. We hold high expectations
for every student and believe that all children can grow when they are
supported, challenged and believed in.

Children learn best when they feel happy, secure, connected and
appropriately challenged.

Our teaching is grounded in clear, structured and evidence-based explicit
instruction. This gives students the knowledge, skills and confidence they
need to become successful readers, writers, mathematicians and thinkers.

Alongside explicit teaching, we value curiosity, creativity, exploration
and play. These experiences help students develop independence,
collaboration, resilience, problem-solving skills and a genuine love of
learning.

We recognise that every child has individual strengths, interests and
needs. Through diverse learning opportunities, dedicated staff and strong
partnerships with families, students are encouraged to discover their
talents, build confidence and reach their potential.

Our school values are reflected in everything we do. At Orange Grove
Primary School, we go F.A.R. by being:

Friendly
We care for others, build positive relationships and help everyone feel welcome.
Achievers
We work hard, take pride in our learning and strive to achieve our personal best.
Respectful
We respect ourselves, other people, our school and the environment.

Together, our students, staff, families and community create a school
where children can learn, grow and belong. Our aim is for every student
to leave Orange Grove Primary School as a confident, compassionate and
lifelong learner.

Our Commitment
Every child is supported and challenged to achieve their personal best.
